This is my favorite time of the year to be in Brandeis. Students are busy rushing in between classes and having fun: everybody is trying to enjoy the weather as much as they can before red leaves are covered with white.  But also, this is my favorite time of the year to be in the classroom. All of my classmates are in the same pace trying to learn and classes are just getting more and more exciting! If I was to apply to a business school, for sure this would be the scene I would like to see.

My name is Tanya Neseliler, and I am a first year MAief student from Istanbul, Turkey. I am also about to complete my undergraduate degree in Brandeis University. I have spent 4 beautiful years in here, another one is to come.  From all these years’ experience, I can tell you that this is the place to be, especially if you are an international student like I am. Brandeis and IBS have a very warm environment: while carrying all the academic strengths of a strong business school, it is also where you will feel at home. (And none of your “siblings” are from the same country!) I guess this is why we have such strong alumni connections, you can take the kid out of IBS but you can never take IBS out of the kid!

If you are preparing your applications for IBS, come visit us. There is so much more to be felt in here than what you can read or hear. Everyone in IBS would be thrilled to meet with you. You can arrange a visit using the link below. Keep in mind that you will have a chance to have an informal interview and attend a class if you would like.

If you don’t have the chance to come visit, but have questions and concerns; contact me at ntanya@brandeis.edu or the admissions office at admission@lemberg.brandeis.edu.

Best Wishes,

Tanya
